EzeScan Announces Major Improvements for Email Handling
7th March 2013 – BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA - Outback Imaging Pty Ltd, the home of EzeScan, the most popular production scanning software in Australia, today announced IMAP client support.
Managing Director Mike Kirkby said ‘Building on the functionality of our existing POP3 Mailbox client, we’ve now added an IMAP client into EzeScan. The driving force behind this has been customer feedback that POP3 has been superseded with many IT departments now only enabling IMAP access to mailboxes. Having taken this feedback on board we have added IMAP client support whilst continuing to offer POP3 for existing clients wanting to retain this functionality. Additionally we have taken this opportunity to expand the security options used when accessing mailboxes ensuring the highest security is used when accessing corporate mail servers.’
